Well Inspections

Request Service
DPS can provide water testing and well inspections for home owners and real estate transactions. The most common water sample that is taken is a bacteria sample. We also take water samples for nitrates, arsenic, and many more contaminants. All water samples are submitted to a California accredited ELAP lab.

For real estate transactions a lender often requires a well inspection with a bacterial water sample test. A standard well inspection includes a test to determine the production of the pump and records the static water level, draw down, pumping depth, and well depth. Every component of the well/pump system is inspected and if a problem is present, we write an estimate to do the needed repairs.
